My wife's Razer mouse (http://www.razersupport.com/gaming-mice/razer-lachesis-5600dpi/) is giving up the ghost. It's the 2nd Razer mouse in our household which expired after a few years of mostly office-type usage (no hard gaming). We want to try a different brand, hopefully more reliable, but need similar size and shape as Lachesis (my wife says this is the most comfortable for her). Which models should we look at?

My go to brand after trying loads of different ones in the past is Logitech.

They have a range to suit all tastes and budgets but it's hard to recommend one without knowing exactly what your wife likes about the Lachesis. For example is it the ambidextrous shape or the raised palm section.

Based on those criteria I'd say either the M500 if you want a non gaming mouse or a G403 if you're OK spending extra for gaming features like a more advanced sensor.

To be honest though mice are such a personal thing that you either need to try them in person or at least buy from somewhere where you can return it easily if you don't like it.

Slim shape, low profile (the palm section is raised as you say but only slightly), thin width.

Have you looked at the G203/G Pro? Using a G Pro myself coming from a Deathadder and it is probably one of the best mice I have ever used. G203 is same mouse with rubber instead of braided cable and a 99% similar performing sensor.
