Non-uniform panel.

Just wondering, can you RMA because of a non-uniform panel?

I just received the LG IPS225V and along with a little spot of backlight leakage on the left, the left side is noticably brighter than the right.

well, if you ordered via internet, you should be able to RMA within 7 working days (Slovak legislation, may differ in other countries) without having to state a reason.

in other words, RMA it and don't say anything, or say that you simply don't like it.

That would be under DSR, and I'll have to pay postage back. As I'm not using the monitor much (it's for the rents pc) they probably won't notice too much so I'd not bother if I had to pay for a large 6KG package back to them with the chance that I get a similar monitor.
