Noob 4.6ghz stable overclock.

Okay it got to 4.6 but failed in prime95 after 3 mins

... i give up lol im going to stick to the auto overclock. thanks for the help anyway guys!

I wish I could be of more help to you. Can always try again some other time.

Could also try running a few games with the 4.6 overclock without prime95'ing it.

Another option would be to increase the vcore to 1.38v.

Every chip is different, just because the one in the video does 3.6 at 1.35 doesnt mean yours will. Leave it on auto voltage and see what it goes to.

Sounds like my problem to

Intel I7 2600K @ 4.5 Gigz VCore 1.376v Prim95 kill it reboots ? after few mins OMG pass confused.

Damn you and your hyperthreading, mine doesn't have HT but it does do 4.9MHz on 1.336v

Just tried with 4.7Ghz, didn't touch the voltage... temps didn't change much either.

I'll stop posting these now. Sorry for high jacking the thread.
