a bit about myself :

Not really into computers tbh, I was doing a national diploma in computing a few years ago but it really didn't go down too well, learning VB etc etc.

Currently suffering from NTL broadband problems, I believe they are doing maintenance work in our local area - this seems to be one of the few sites i can access though, allbeit very sloooowly

Can't do pics sorry, the camera always seems to turn off when I go to take a pic :p ;)

Oh i'm a big fan of smilies too, shame to see so few on here, but that won't hold me back:D

Do you read the daily mail?

Whats your stance on Muslims and veils, polish workers and does 0.9r=1???????????

Nope I do not read the daily mail or the sun or the mirror - the ammount of people that I see reading such newspapers ( well more like **** stirrers) at work and actually believing everything they read as gospel truth is quite alarming, I doubt there is much we can do though.
My stance is that if those people are stupid enough to believe everything they read then there is no point in me wasting time having a discussion with them on the topics that they like to bring up.

Musilims - I currently have one muslim friend, he is no different to anyone else in the world. Although these terrorist who claim to be muslim, well that is a totally different story, they do not represent the majority of the muslim population. The current state of affairs is a bit out of hand, but I blame that mainly down to the media - what with PC and all this nonsense, and propaganda working on both sides (so to speak).

Polish workers - hmm tough one, the guys and gals we have at work don't really speak to me ( maybe that is because they aren't used to seeing asian people ? I have no idea tbh ) but I don't really care or have any need to speak to them, as harsh as it may sound. I have quite a few friends who have polish parents but were born here, again they are normal people no different to anybody else.
I do however think that rather than getting people in from abroad to work here, that the government should place more emphasis on encouraging the locals to fill these positions.

All ^ IMO of course, no offence meant to any people mentioned :)

0.9r may = 1 depending what r equals
