Noob At 3d printing

Hi all I'm a noob at 3d printing so go easy on me lol.
OK I'm in desperate need of help I'm printing things from the Internet and there missing arms and are coming out all stringy.any idea what I'm doing wrong?
I slice with cura maker I think it's called.
Things that came with the memory stick provided with the machine print out perfect.
But whenever I try to print anything from online it just doesn't turn out right.

Is it the slicing software I need to adjust coz it just looks daunting.

BTW my machine is a creality ender 3 v3 plus

Are you adding supports either manually in the slicers or auto adding them?
Stringing can be down to poor retraction or just trying to print too fast. Get some pictures of your projects up.

I have no idea what you mean by supports....I can send pictures no problem....what do you suggest I change in the slicer settings?
