Hi, at the mo i have a 512MB Sapphire Radeon X1950 XTX, PCI-E (x16), Mem1000MHz GDDR4, GPU 650MHz, 48 Pipes, VIVO graphics card. I have just gone and bought one of those nice dell 24" monitors from OC`ers and i was thinking of getting a connect3d master x1950 crossfire master card from OC`ers to beef up the graphics power with the higher resolutions i`ll be running with the new display. Will the x1950card i have at the moment work fine as a slave to this card ? and i was wondering, will all non master x1950 work as slaves ? ( my card doesn`t say crossfire compatible on it ) Thanks.

noob crossfire x1950 question

Yeah it will work fine, and yes all non masters will work as slave cards without any problems, also you do not need a master card now as ATi have added Crossfire into the Drivers, so you could just buy any other x1950 XTX and use that, but there is a slight performance hit when doing it the driver way over the master card/slave way. 
If it were me though i wouldn't buy an x1950 XTX now as they are totally worthless, atrocious price that for an old card, as you can buy a next gen Dx10 8800 GTS for about £40 more, so if it were me id sell the x1950 XTX i had now and buy one of those instead.
