Noob GTX970 power cable question??

Probably a really stupid question but just bought a heap of new parts and have a question about the power cabling for the GPU.
Have got a Zotac GeForce GTX 970 and SuperFlower Leadex GOLD 750W PSU and wanted to know whether to use the SLI(2x6+2pins) PCI express cable to power both sockets on the GPU or if I had to use 2 separate 6+2 cables?

You can use either method.

As above, both do the same job, you need the other two if you add another card for SLI.
