All over the world...
Right is there a noob guide to using titanium backup pro??. Have had a look around the intarnet but see that they are using older versions ie the video walkthroughs etc.

Just looking for a guide that will tell me step by step on how i back up all my apps and data, namely my game data as i hate having to start from the beginning in case i have to flash a custom rom or wipe my phone clean.

Also how to restore the data, so that when ive restored my data and apps...it was the way it was before backing up etc. Also what i should be backing up and restoring etc.

Just finding the app itself a bit overwhelming to say the least.

One problem im having is that when i go into the backup and restore screen, i cant seem to find the option to back up all my apps/data...i can back them one by one but thats too time consuming, most of the guides ive seen have said something about a batch operation but i cant see it for the life of me...perhaps im missing something??

Haven't got my phone with me so this is from memory.

To backup all of your apps, from the TB home screen press the icon with a tick in the top right corner. This will take you to batch mode and should be fairly self-explanatory from the item descriptions. You can select all of your apps or just a subset and backup from there. Restore actions are in the same place.

For data, I'd suggest using a different app. I use MyBackupPro which will backup call logs, sms/mms, dictionary, etc.

Like reefoid said above, once you get into the batch screen select user apps and data. For system data, you can safely backup the green stuff in the list. I usually just do wifi access points.

Once you've backed up, it'll be stored on your SD card.

Pro tip: Press menu and select "create update.zip", then once you've flashed your new rom, flash the titanium update zip. When you first boot up your new rom, skip logging into your google account and load up TB. Then restore the wifi and all your user apps :) Finally add your google account at the end.

Sorry for the late reply guys but thanks for the info so far.

Just a question though, the backup is stored on the sd card which i imagine is the internal memory of the SGS3 that i have. So if i flash my phone to a new rom or custom rom, wont the phones internal memory be wiped cleaned therefore losing that backup file?? Or do i need to do the backup then move the backup to either my external sd card or my laptop??. If so how do you do that??

Again thanks for the info.

When you rom flash, do a fullwipe/factory reset, wipe cache and wipe dalvik cach. Internal and external storage shouldn't be affected. The wipe only clears the system and data partitions :)
