it seems as though I'm going to have to replace my PSU so I figure now is a good time to sort out my motherboard problem.
Basically, I'm pretty sure my motherboard doesn't support 8-bit LBA so only 130gig of my 200gig HDD is being detected. I've run big drive enabler and similar and it still won't work.
firstly, do you imagine that this is the problem?
secondly, can I just take my CPU off my old mobo and stick it on the new one? will it matter that it's already had some arctic silver style stuff all over it? and will i just need to put some more arctic silver stuff on it when i put it in the new mobo?
