lol maybe one day ill spend almost a weeks wages on a graphics card. hopefully ill have a better job in a few months time and then who knows, maybe ill buy a dual cpu motherboard haha
the postie left it in the grey wheelie bin (recycling) nothing gross in there, just plastic cardboard etc but it was very cold out and the ssd was very cold when i got it after work. hope condensation and the cold hasnt damaged it
yea, aside from the gpu which i may be able to purchase next month, everything has been orderd and im just waiting for the stuff to arrive. i orderd the optical drive with artic silver so if that had arrived today i would have got thewhole lot installed ready for windows 7
im very convinced im getting a 7950. they seem like a bargain compared to 580s plus the one im thinking of should allow me to have a few mods running on skyrim (like hd texture packs)
it does seem decent, especially for the price. i was originally thinking of getting a GIGABYTE Radeon HD 7950 OC 3072MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card
i found it on another site for £317 it has a slightly higher core speed of 900mhz but i cant see that making any difference haha.
why did you have to throw a spanner in the works lol. looks like ill be getting that vtx now
Yes! GPUs are one of the easiest things to overclock. Download MSI Afterburner!
With a custom cooler [such as the VTX3D] you tend to be able to get high overclocks
