Hi

I am trying to build my first computer and struggling a bit. I just received the parts last night from OCUK.

I have assembled the parts.

My specs:
- Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600
- Cooling: Zalman 9500LED
- Mobo: EVGA nForce 680i
- Video card: BFG 8800GTX OC 600mhz
- PSU: Seasonic M12 700W
- Memory: 2GB Corsair Dominator PC2 8500-C5
- Hard Drives: 2x150gb Western Digital RaptorX @10k
- Optical drive: Plextor 760SA (Serial ATA)
- Optical drive: Samsung SH-W183 (Serial ATA)
- Case: Lian Li VB 1100Plus
- Monitor: Dell 2407WFP
- Windows Vista Retail 32 & 64 bit (unable to install as of yet)

Then I go to BIOS, everything seems detected. Only thing I changed was multiplier from x7 to x9 to get CPU @2.4ghz.

My optical drives are connected to mobo SATA 1 & 2
My HDD are connected to mobo SATA 5 & 6

Then I get following error upon leaving BIOS:

NVIDIA BOOT AGENT 243.0537
Copyright (c) 2001-2005 NVIDIA Corporation
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 INTEL Corporation
PXE-E61: MEDIA TEST FAILURE, CHECK CABLE
PXE-M0F: EXITING NVIDIA BOOT AGENT
DISK BOOT FAILURE, INSERT SYSTEM DISK AND PRESS ENTER

Anyone have a solution?

Appreciate your help

PS I have looked on different forums but have not found an answer that works for me

Cheers

When I try to install VISTA: I get a screen entitled "Where do you want to install Windows?" underwhich are listed

"Disk 0 Unallocated Space 139.7GB
Disk 1 Unallocated Space 139.7GB"

the at bottom a yellow warning triangle "This computer harware may not support booting to this disk. ensure that the disk's controller is enabled in the computer's BIOS menu."

What should I do?

Cheers
