Right,here's my dilemma.My old pc is on it's last legs and i am looking to upgrade to a gaming one that let's me play in 3D.I have been looking at pre-built packages with a monitor and they seem quite expensive after adding decent headset,3D glasses,monitor, etc.My budget is around £1500 or so and i am basically looking for value for money.I would contemplate my own build but seeing as i have'nt attempted one before i am a little apprehensive.I was also looking at the HAF X 942 case as i like the look of it and for future upgrades.My old Packard Bell was from PC World so no overclock and little upgradeability plus my pci-e slot seems to have packed up on my mb so i am looking for something that will last me a while longer.Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks for your input guys,much appreciated.I can push the boat out more moneywise if i wanted due to some good fortune but i do'nt want to go over the top and i am really interested in doing a first build.My old pc is getting passed on to the missus for general course work but i may get a new mb for it so can't really grab anything off that.I have a Samsung 2232BW 22' on that and had no problems with it but it is not HD and if i can i will get a higher res monitor.I will also want to overclock at some point and have looked at overclocked bundles but i think i should concentrate on one thing at a time.As for a SSD i think i will slip one in and a 1tb sata for my storage.Just out of interest umboma,i have only just got black ops and not able to play it on my PB but seeing as you game what do you suggest mouse,keyboard and headset wise.I was thinking of a Roccat 5.1 headset but not sure of mouse and keyboard.I could really push the boat out to £2000-£2500 but i think i would be being a bit extravagant.I've noticed that some of the overclocked 3D packages have an overcklocked processor at 4.8ghz and that grabs my interest as i have a Q6600 quad core 2.4ghz in my PB and i am looking for significantly more.I have about a month till my money comes through probate and just sounding out ideas till it arrives.
