We are looking to reduce monthly expenses and was thinking of just going Freeview instead of Sky but then I got to thinking about going NTL to save even more cash.
Zen internet = £35 / month
BT = £30 / quarter (linerental)
Sky = £17.50 / month (ish)
total = £750 / year
NTL = £30 / month
total = 360
1) Do you have to pay BT line rental with NTL?
2) Can you keep your BT number?
3) Whats the NTL service like?
4) I assume I will have to buy another router as my ADSL one will be no use but what connection do you get in your house? i.e. do you get a socket on the wall that you plug into your router and another you plug into your phone?
5) Do they cap their internet connections?
Sorry for the noob questions, just a few that their website can't answer
