Although I now realise the error of my ways, I currently have a 7800GTX nestling in my Dell XPS 600. The PC uses a 3.2 P4, has one gig of RAM and is hooked up to a Samsung 226BW at 16080 x 1050. Not sure about the PSU altough I think is 550.

I use the PC mostly for gaming and altough not a FPS junkie I want things to look good on a 22" widescreen. This is more of a "stop gap" as I'll be getting a better PC to run media later this year. I want to stick with Nvidia so:

1. Is there any point in upgrading my card with the limitations of the 3.2 P4?

2. Do I go for an single expensive state of the art card or perhaps two solid (but more affordable) cards in SLI?

3. Bearing in mind the above, if I want HDCP compatibility, which card/s is/are best to go for?

Thanks in advance for any help.

if you have the cash for full upgrade then go for it..i'd say sli not worth it, get best single slot available and pair it with best CPU.
