Generally speaking you'd put intake fans at the front/bottom/side, and exhaust at the rear/top.

I have read putting a fan on the side disrupts airflow.... i dont know, i can really put a comment on how that would disrupt airflow -_- but i am a noob therefore my knowledge aint greater then others. I just read it in a forum and the guy never provided an explanation what do you think?

I am using the CM 690 II DOMINATION no it ADVANCED i cant remember one of the two, my fan format goes as follow, 1 140mm fan on the front, 2 120mm fans on the base, 2 140mm, and 1 120mm fan on back exhauster. ALS0 not forgetting an 120mm fan cpu taking in air from the RAM, indirection to the rear end fan!

Negative air pressure (i.e. more exhaust than intake) is the system that's a nightmare for dust. With positive air pressure (more intake than exhaust) it's not normally as much of a problem![/QUOTE]

hold on, what it i have 3 intake/exhaust will i have a issue i was planning in investing in dust filters anyway they are perfect for cutting the cleaning proceeder by a few :)
