Hi guys, i have bought a copy of vista (home premium 32-bit) maily for DX10 and upcoming games, but i dont want to install it as my main OS because of all the compatability problems at the moment, i wanna keep xp for all my everyday uses.
can i install vista on a seperate partion and use a "dual boot" system and only use vista when i wanna play a DX10 game?
if so can anyone post a link to a "how to" guide or something similar! never done anything like this before and wouldnt know where to begin! system specs below!

any help appreciated cheers!

You have missed out big time their, why didnt you get Vista 64bit if your going to be Dual booting anyway?

As to your question just install Vista on the empty partion and off you go, you wont need to do anything. Once Vista is installed you will have the choice to choose to either boot into XP or Vista.
