my NF7 has been getting by with a single stick of 512 pc3200.
today i added a 512 stick of ballistix + ran the mem bandwidth test on sisoft sandra and it seems my memory bandwidth has dropped by around 10 percent.
is this normal/abnormal?

any help greatly appreciated.

No thats not normal, use CPU-Z to check the memory timings and number of memory channels and post them up here

It could be the Ballistix has slack timings (if its the PC4000) and its defaulting to them, hence the lack of bandwidth.
