just about the cable you get with the Wii,, what is best,, the cable connected via the scart block,, or without the scart block and connected, via the individual sockets on the side of the tele??

To be honest, there probably won't be much difference. To utilise SCART properly, by getting an RGB signal, you'll need the dedicated Wii SCART cable.

The SCART block - because your TV should autodetect when you turn the Wii on and change to the right channel automatically. I don't see how there can be a difference in picture quality though.

Neither should be any different picture quality wise, whatever is more convenient to you.
