Very very stupid question, but really does niggle me, so forgive me for asking:cool:

Is DX11 built into the GPU ?

I ask this, as new ATI cards are the big DX11, but isn't the DX11 actually in the Windows itself.

So would a HD4890 not be DX11 compatible if you had Windows 7 ?

If so(I.E last line), then what is big fuss over the new cards:confused:
 
Ah thank you for answering my stupid question, just wasn't sure. Makes my mind up about getting one of new cards when released now.
