will I need to buy sata cables to go with them since they are OEM?

Aye, they won't come with any cables.

If you bought your motherboard in a retail box then it should come with some SATA data cables (though if your motherboard was an OEM version or came with a pre-built system then it likely won't). If you need new SATA data cables, these are the ones I would go for.

As for the power connections, your PSU should come with some SATA power connections. If there are not enough left then you should use these.

My OcUK OEM DVD-RW came with a SATA cable (purchased on Saturday, in store).

I've bought hundreds of OEM DVD drives and not one has shipped with a cable. Lucky!
