noob trying to understand w7 packages

I have a new build in mind and i am planning on w7. can i purchase the upgrade version for a clean install and will i need a spare licence key from a previous os for the install. If not whats the difference between the W7 Home Premium Upgrade and W7 Home Premium apart from the price.

Just buy the home premium for £72.99 its the full retail version wiht 32+64bit OS and has its own serial key.

Its the chepaest windows youll own tbh

The upgrade versions were meant for US intially

Just i can get the upgrade version for £50 from work with staff benefits. Does it have 32 and 64 and will it work is really the question

I believe the upgrade versions only come as either 32 or 64bit, not as both.

Also, you can't upgrade from XP I think. You also can't upgrade 32 > 64 or 64>32 bit.

Not unless you have a previous version of windows installed.
