Noob type question I'm afraid

I'm trying to install ad aware to my friends machine.

Every time I try it comes up with this message: 'windows found that this file is potentially harmful. to help protect your computer, windows has blocked access to this file. Name aawsepersonal.exe'

XP Home version.

I'm logged in as an administrator and have come across this before but can't remember how I got round it!

Any offers?

Its in a zipped file on the hdd

Not at her house now so unsure. If it's on will that stop it from running?
