heya guys i know i havnt even finished my own pc yet but it is going through a lot of changes so it is going on hold untill i hear back from a few companies. so i guess this is classed as my second ever build even though my first is not finished.
my freind seen my own build progress through good old facebook and sent me a messege asking if i could do him a nice little build for 1600 quid... i jumped at the chance as i realy enjoyed putting my first pc together a month or so ago.
after a lovely trip up to overclockers and picking dave up on the way we managed to pick up a lovely new build and met a really good bloke in the process who i have to say helped me out massively with the cable brading on my own and this build aswell. pictures still waiting on the braid as they should be in the post for me friday so cheers dave
anyway enough jibberjabber here is my freinds build
well he did ask for little
mobo of choice the Gene. such a nice looking board and i think it suited the build really well
cpu in and ek waterblock on
mobo in
lovely little 80mm fans
went for the kfa 680 in the end as budget was creeping up and to be honest... the guy is going to use it for world of warcraft, cs go and league of legends
taken apart
ek block now on these blocks are stunning
into the case aong with some lovely looking ram
fans fitted onto 2 stealth 240 rads
and here they are fitted
unfortunatly he was nearly out of budget and couldnt affort to fork out for any angled fittings so i had to try fit all the watercooling in with just compression fittings... couldnt get some of the angles so i had to use some of my own angled fittings i bought for my own build. bare in mind ive never touched watercooling before in my life and this is my 2nd atempt at a pc lol so it could be a lot tidyer i feel but im still happy with it
couple of lights off shots and fans on
time for the coolent and i was met streight away by everyones best freind ....airlock
but after hours of trying different ideas i even took it for a drive down the road .... we got there in the end
There we go guys was only a quick build log this one but i hope you enjoyed. only thing i have left to do on this build is fit the braided cables tidy up in the back of the case install windows + drivers and i should have a very happy freind thanks for looking guys
