The nice parcel delivery lady bought my gear to me this morning (actually I lied, she was an old hag, but one can dream she looked like one of those in Gibbo's thread:D)

:D

don't they recommend doing a line of ceramique and letting the block spread it out? or is it different to other pastes?

You can spread the paste either way. Can put a blob in the middle and then push down and turn heatsink to spread it or can spread with a ruler etc before putting the heatsink on. Personally, I find it easier to do the latter.

or push it round with your finger wrapped in cling film. ;)

EDIT *
P.s, don't bother going to see Indiana Jones...

you just using 1 120 rad?

Does that provide any real benefit over say a 120 thermaltake(right?)ultra extreme

No idea, I have no previous watercooling experience. Just what was recommended to me. for a CPU cooler.
I'll have another rad and a couple of blocks on the new graphics cards when they arrive probably..

With the TJ07 i'm supprised you didn't go for a double or a tripple rad as it'd have fitted with ease.

Emphasis on the "NOOB" here...
I wanted to start off with a basic system, have a play around with it.
Then when the new GC's are out, two more blocks and a separate system can be added.
I hate the look of the systems that have loads of Y pieces and T off's, much rather have simple straight forward and neat pipe runs.
It'll be also clearer if one of the cooling system requires "more work" (read better cooling)

who cares, it'll be debated until the cows come home for either way..

Anyway, that's the end of my fun for the weekend (unless a shop in town is open)
Both my 1950XTX's are FUBAR (to be expected. :D)

BIOS (shipped with) was saying 16 degrees C for the CPU temp... hmmmmm
