Noob X-fi question

I want to install new drivers for my X-fi card, now do i simply remove the drivers from Device manager, or can i just install the new drivers over the top of the old ones?

You're best off removing the old drivers completely. Then installing the new ones after a restart. Don't forget to defrag after you remove the old ones and installed the new ones.

Just install the new drivers over the top, thats how they were designed to be installed, theyll just overwrite the old ones.
