Noob Xbox360 question

Hi there

I'm thinking of getting an Xbox360 and have a question about the HDTV aspect of this machine.

To run at its best I have been told I need HDTV 1080i or 720p format. Are there any computer monitors I can run Xbox on as opposed to a TV that give the exact same resolutions and format as a LCD TV? Or do I need to buy a HDTV TV?

Most monitors will give you the correct format, you certainly don't need a HDTV.

Just need to purchase a Microsoft VGA cable and your away (as long as you have a monitor and means of sound)

You can use a monitor as well with the VGA cable.
