Noobie Cries Help !!!!!!!!!

Hi

I have Zalman CNPS8000 Ultra Quiet Low Profile CPU Cooler, I want remove the cooler from my setup. With the HSF came a plastic backplate which fits underneath the motherboard to help secure HSF. The backplate is mounted with an adhesive pad.

Without damaging the motherboard or the plastic backplate how can it be removed ???

Suppose you could bodge it using a hair drier to loosen the adhesive
