Hi Everyone,

This may seem like a stupid question but i'm very new to all this. This is my first everbuild & my first ever desktop style pc.

My questions is.

Iam wanting to use all my other wireless devices through my pc rather then my router which i have set up but the pc has to be fully running for this to happen. Is there any software or command line that will let me put my pc into some sort of part sleep mode but keep the wireless ap open for the rest of my devices. I have noticed that even when my pc has been shut down the lights for the wifi card are still on but the wifi signal isn't ??

Thanks in Advance

no.

To transmit and receive wireless signals any adaptor needs power.

when you shutdown, it loses power.

I already have one. I just thought with my motherboard having wifi go i would connect them all through the pc then i can control it & stream to & from it raher then going through the wap if you get what i mean. I'm still learning :)
