Noobish question: AV8 users how do I use my extra USB headers?

Ok

I have an Abit AV8 motherboard and I have a Coolermaster case with two front mounted USB headers.

I'm fairly sure I've attached the wires correctly to the mobo but I can't get the USB ports to work.

On the bios I have enabled all the likely looking options.

Is there an obvious mistake I might be making?

The other set of headers?
Cable plugged in at both ends?
Also, maybe the BIOS is defaulting to using the first set first, so so speak.
Otherwise, you might want to uninstall the USB drivers from in Windows & let it re-evaluate how many ports it posesses.

Finally, a USB key with a light on the end or similar should help to define whether its the ports or Windows at fault.
