Nooby After Effects help

Need some help with Adobe After Effects I have never used it before so I dunno what I have done and google isn't helping much.

It keeps repeating the section that is in a lighter square and I can't seem to get rid of it so if anyone could help that would be great.

Done that the green line goes right along but it still repeats that one bit.

There you go it does it in every project I make so I dunno what it is.

If anyone wants to make me a intro feel free I didn't know what I was doing anyway.

Assuming your comp length is wrong, make your composition longer, if there is no animation going on then it will look like the first frame is repeating. Change your composition settings (you are working at 30fps - any reason?) the timecode works by frames ie 00:00:01:00 is 1 second (30 frames).

I wanted a 5 second in length and I don't have any layers because I deleted and reinstalled it, If you add an animation you can see it just repeats it self, I am working at 30fps so my intro isn't jerky and looks a bit weird.

I just downloaded a project online and it wasn't there but I didn't really want to use someone elses work.

If I delete all the stuff and don't change the time it works fine but as soon as I change the time it breaks so can someone upload a 5 second project with nothing in it?
