Im a NOOB when it comes to sound editing lol Im using 'Audacity' and my main goal is to shorten this score music i have. Ill try my best to explain my problem lol >< The music lasts for around 2 min. In the middle of the song is a drum solo (battle drums) This solo lasts for around 1 min and i want to shorten it to last just 10 seconds.
The best way to explain it if you think of it like this. Clip 1: The start of the solo. Clip 2: the middle of the solo. CLip 3: the end of the solo.
Now when i remove clip 2 and join clip 1 to clip 3 i get a large CLICK as they join. Their is plenty of silence between the drum beats so i dont think its a case of the click being part of a drum beat i hadn’t edited out properly (if you get me)
The other strange thing is where the click happens, there isnt any noise showing up on the waveforms Its just flat.
