as title states i am a noob at oc'in and i have just gone into my bios and changed something to 226 wich means that with a x13 multiplyer i am running at 2.95ghz but when i change it to try and push over 3ghz vista freezzes on boot
i was wondering if anyone could help me or if you overclocking guru's could give me advice on how to push to 3ghz as it will be grately apreciated.
spec is
amd athlon x2 5200+
asus m2n68-cm
2x 1gb ddr2 800mhz ram
1gb xfx nvida 9500gt
500w psu
akasa ak-876 cpu cooler
