I just dropped my phone onto my nice new shiny Phantom NZXT case :mad::mad:. I knocked it off the side (where I've been telling myself for days 'something will fall off there soon, there isn't enough room'), and low and behold, hits it right where the light hits one of the angles, scratches it up in 3-5 places, and it is RIGHT in my eyeline. Disaster.

I suppose it is worth an ask...and advice on any way to get these scratches out and leave it all shiny and black and sexy still? I dropped plenty onto my antec 300, and it just took it like a man :p. Price to pay to be shiny I guess :(

does the computer work? and how the hell could you drop it? break the fan and send it to NZXT for a RMA :p

Strangely enough (not for this thread or section I know), but I was just playing Driver San Fran, everything going fine, when lots of grey and black lines on the screen appeared and it cashed out. Had to hold the off button.

Coincidence? I think not! The scratch has broken the computer! :p.

Pledge for wood. It contains wax and will fill the scratches, I used it on my old NZXT Lexa Blackline and it didn't completely remove them but they looked so much better.

Also you should use a nice smooth cloth, like a yellow dusting cloth.

Well it did fall of off the table

It wasn't a Nokia was it? If not I would suggest trying to buff the scratches out, like you would on a CD! I use toothpaste, but polish is probably a better idea, maybe some t-cut in white? But be careful as it does remove layers, but not a problem on a pc case I suppose.

I've read about the toothpast cure for cd's but I've never got it to work, I think its a joke or something...I mean toothpaste!?

"toothpaste removes scratches hurrr hurrr"

Hang on, I think that you think that my whole pc fell off the table? If so, it was just my phone which fell, but it hit my computer :p. If it was the whole pc, I would be very very worried :D

Good suggestion, I'm going to see if we have any. If not, a definite pick up when I'm next in a shop that sells it :). Would that work on the glossy base of a monitor/tv too do you think? Because they seem to have picked up a lot of very thin scratches (not noticeable unless the light hits it right) from somewhere :P.

It was a HTC HD7...quite a big one :p. I've never actually used the toothpaste trick but heard a lot of people reporting success with it! Even though it does sound crazy that toothpaste can remove scratches :D.
