Hi guys i have purchased an evga 8800 GTS (n92) o these cards not support older crt monitors i can only see dual dvi out on them and none of the older crt outputs.

If this is the case are there adapters available to connect to a crt monitor or am i going to need to pick up a newer monitor sooner than i thought?

Card hasnt arrived yet. I jsut wanted to check as i have been researching issues with the Abit IP35 Pro and the new PCIE 2.0 cards.

I have bought an ABit IP35 pro and the GTS 8800 (n92) and am a little worried thier not gonig to work together now....

While worrying about that i realised i hadnt checked if the card came with adaptors for older vga monitors. Thanks for at least resolving one issue :)

Just got to hope my Corsair 620W/Abit IP35 Pro and the GTS 8800 will work together properly now.

People report running GTX SLi off a HX520W so a 620W will be fine, that deffo runs GTX SLi so one GTS is just fine :).

The card will deffenitly come with a DVi-VGA adaptor. Hopefully you wont have any issues at all :).

Thanks. Just been reading on a few forums about some issues between Pcie 1.0/1.0a and the newer pcie 2.0 cards. From what i've seen reading through pages of posts on the abit forums the issue hapenns a lot. Just hope that as the posts i read were from just before christmas that the issues have been resolved and i dont encounter them i guess. :)

ohh nice to know :)

Fingers crossed mine will work nice and easily. Kit arrived a little earlier so going to build it a little later on. :)
