Normal Temps on a cpu

My X2 3800 @2.6GHz is idling at 29C as I type this.

But temps are dependent on many factors, do consider:

Is the heaksink/fan seated correctly with the right amount of TIM?
Is there adequate airflow through the case? and enough space around it for the hot air to disperse.
Is the PC in a hot room?
Does your mobo need a BIOS update; quite often the temps read wrong in early BIOS versions and this is rectified in later ones.

still need to do a bios update but will try,

my case is a cooler master ammo 533 and my cooler is the stock cooler with the cpu.
