Turbo for me - it might be laggy at times but oh so fun! My 9-3 Turbo was like being attached to the end of a rubber band when the turbo spooled up at 2000rpm.

Arg, I've yet to have more than a test drive in something large and NA. I always enjoy my turbo, from 40mph in 4th it's even satisfying as it spins up. But then apart from this strange hankering for an Impreza my list of possible next cars are all huge (ish) NAs. I specifically want a large displacement engine this time round... though the VXR8 with an SC... yay!

Seeing peoples reactions to the jump in torque from a Turbo car can be funny. :)

I picked NA as they are more responsive and sound better, of the cars I've had :p

Supercharged would be a close second though, in my experience with the current car it's the best of both worlds but still a very small amount of lag but you have to be looking for it to notice it.

Neil.

I'd pick N/A (but I'm kinda biased) small amount of time in turbos and never in a Supercharged though.

If I ever chose to FI my S2000 in the future I would most likely go SC over Turbo though.

Superchargers don't have lag at all.

I have no preference as when it comes to choosing a car, the engine is just 1 aspect of it and its whether or not the engine suits the car. i.e. an impreza would be just wrong with a 3.0 V6, and M3 wouldnt suit a turbo'd 4 cyl. Not sure if that makes sense or not :p

I picked N/A. But i am talking a proper 8 cylinder+ petrol engine, a very highly strung 6pot at a push.

Failing that i would go F/I.

Depends entirely on the application.

A non turbocharged HGV would be a nightmare.

On the other hand, I always much preferred the way my old XR3i drove compared to the RS Turbo that replaced it.

Sometimes, no turbo is required......

I quite like the whine my car makes when you're giving it the beans :)

In comparison to a couple of Tubs i've driven (Including the R56 Cooper S/Alfa Romeo Mito) the Supercharger is always more fun for me.
