Northbridge cooler ?

no, just needs to have the holes for the push pins, and the space for it to be seated depending on the position of u're chipset against u;re processor it might be tight.

I have just fitted a Thermaltake Extreme Spirit ll (don't laugh it actually has decent reviews and it only cost a fiver) to the bargain Biostar P35 board in my second pc. The reason for doing so was because the chipset was running stupidly hot. Anyway, even though the cooler was only a Freezer 7 Pro the chipset cooler would'nt fit in the orientation that i wanted it to, ie, facing the same way as the Freezer 7 Pro. Luckily my chipset cooler can be fitted in just about any orientation so i eventually got it fitted. I should imagine that the situation would be worse if i had one of these massive cpu coolers.
