Northbridge cooling

This is my mobo:
DFI DK x48

Im looking to put a fan on my NB, the heatsink has a nice flat top, but it does not seem to have any screwholes. i was thinking of one of these:

Asaka Fan

I dont want to remove the current sink as it has a nice heatpipe arrangement, the fan obve has a heatsink on it though, would this be bad for my NB? Any other ideas for cooling it?

are the fins strong enough to hold some screws that will support a fan in place?

Th heatsink looks like a solid block of metal with fins on the side. I didnt really want to go drilling hole in a brand new mobo :eek:

Tempted to get a spot. Although not much space with my 4870X2 and Tuniq tower. I have an Asus Rampage...so where would I even direct it?
