Northfleet/Gravesend Anyone

I purchased my first flat in a new development in Northfleet, a place called Griffin court.

2 mins walking distance from ebbsfleet. It was a great flat, massive, had underground gated parking etc. Bought it for 100k and then moved out a year later as I had met my wife and we purchased a 3 bed new development house in Hoo.

I never had any problems and the area was up and coming, being developed etc. Sold it 11 months after buying it and made 6k profit.

I'm from Gravesend originally, I live just outside now. Like most places, there's some bad bits and some good bits. The main problem in my opinion is that the town centre is pretty grim. With Bluewater being 10 minutes away and the recession, a lot of shops have gone and been replaced with low cost outlets.

On the plus side, once you're in Gravesend, you're 10 minutes from the M25, 10 minutes from the countryside, 50 minutes from central London by train (17 minutes on the high speed from Ebbsfleet) and an hour from the coast.

There's a lot of changes coming to the area over the next few years, all with their pros and cons.
