Norton help

I am about to commence a clean install of windows 7 on my desktop. However, I have Norton 360 and don't know how I will change the license to the new install of windows? any help?

Also, my system was bought pre installed with windows. Is the product key in system properties the key that I should use to reinstall windows?

I wouldn't install any Norton product on a brand new machine. Plenty of better freeware alternatives exist and are less likely to slow your machine down or render it useless *cough* Kaspersky *cough*.

CCleaner
Defraggler
etc

The CD key should be printed on a CoA sticker.

Wouldn't touch Norton products personally, haven't installed any for a good 10 years though due to previous issues with them *shudders*.

As KIA says there's plenty of free alternatives and a plethora of better paid for products.
