So I have had enough at looking at all the amazing pictures on Instagram of Norway it time that I must visit.

Problem I have is picking a place to go doing some light research it appears to be so vast and spread out It can take days to travel to various places. So my plan is to spend 7 days looking at June/July next year (Is this a good time?) will probably end up broke reading the other thread on here.

Just looking at the best base on places to fly to first does anyone know any good tour companies would love to see some of the wilderness of Norway. Basically photography my thing so places with amazing scenery is what I need coming home with 2000 pictures would be nice.

I spent a week out on the Hardangervidda plateau last winter. It's an amazing place and I'd like to go back and visit in the summer some time as it would be totally different. The hut network is fantastic with plenty of trekking available if that's your sort of thing. We flew into Oslo and drove over from the airport.

Sounds great where abouts did you stay when you speak of the hut network is this a guided tour?

I've done trekking in Norway using the huts a few times (including one winter tour) with a friend and it's wonderful :) You can get guided tours - start here to see what's possible.

Hmm it seems from what I can see all of the guided tours are all ski type snow based not really what I want

Summer ones aren't up yet - they go on the website around Dec/Jan. Plenty of other sites that list the guided tours.

Call us childish if you want, but a few years back when a group of us visited Norway we took the E6 East out of Trondheim and had ACDC's Highway to Hell blasting out at 11. Sounded awesome going through the tunnels.
