anyone see this program last night,


Had to lol at the lengths they go to onsome of the cases, I mean FFS the guy in the camera van at the roundabout, No wonder our premiums are so hight, Fair enough if it seems a suspect claim the fair enough but to stake out accident blacksports :) :)

Far from it! If these things weren't detected, caught and punished then we would see huge increases in fraud meaning our premiums would REALLY go up.

iirc, wasnt he after a known gang who were using that excact spot for lots of claims??

yeah, they were after a gang who were making a very large number of claims worth a lot of money in total. The cost of the survielance was probably very little in comparison to the claims made.

And if they can prove all the claims were fraudulent they can legally go after any money they had already paid out
 
Good show though, was interesting to watch. Felt sorry for the guy who lost all his fishing gear though, even though the garage wasn't attached to his house.
 
Had to laugh at the guy who could read keys just by touch! And they used his words as evidence!

Yeah i didn't quite get that how by looking at a key, even under a microscope can you tell how far the car been driven. I can understand a key been worn down a bit each time it used but surely somedoing lots of short journeys like me would wear a key quicker than someone just does long distance driving.
 
The program was pretty much a joke tbh.

Some seriously good investigations take place into organised fraud, but you didn't see any of it on that program.
