Nose and Facial Piercings

I have my daith pierced, I’d heard an old wives tale that it helped with headaches…

Pleased to report that it does, at least in my case.

I’m very much in the “your body, your choice” camp.
 
Got 5 piercings in my ears, 3 in the left and 2 on the right and had my nose and lip pierced when I was younger but since left them to close up.

Why? It's just an extension of fashion at the end of the day. Having said that, I got them mostly because they helped me get the ladies ;)
 
the trouble with things like this, is that they are crap, but only if the person they are on is ugly, and they are super hot, but only if the person with them is super hot.

it's similar with clothing. a shirt looks totally different on a buff guy as to how it looks on an unwashed potato, and these god given leggings girls are freely wearing these days where that are designed to go tight into the butt cheeks (best time to be alive imo) look amazing on hot girls, but on jabba the hutt's sister, not so much.

Don't understand it personally. Nose depends person to person some pull it off some don't, facial piercings in general I don't get at all and just look naff to me and a little bit of a turn off in some cases.
 
It helped me to instantly identify the type of people back in the day. 90s and 00s. I'm not a huge fan of anything metal through skin but it's not up to me how you choose to present to the world. It's a bold statement. Stretching your earlobes to be 10cm long let's me know you're mentally ill for example:p

I can't say I like the look of many piercings or tattoos. For me, it depends on the person; some people get away with it, others might not.

I don't mind them in ears, maybe a nose piercing or even less likely, one in the eyebrow. Tattoos, I like even less, though, as rightly said, each to their own.
