Noses, Broken ones.

When I was 13/14 (When ever GT3:Aspec came out, I was born in 1987, anyway back then) I got attacked by some random person on the street for looking at them funny.

...

They were riding on the bikes and I thought they said something so I turned to look if i knew them and they came and beat me up, One of them was okay though he was saying stop, but still he could have pulled his mate off me.

Anyway they broke my nose and I didnt want my parents to know I got in to a fight so I never sort medical attention and thus it healed a little crooked but tbh i didnt really care.

Anyway recently I banged it walking in to a door (...) and it's been throbbing sometimes so i've made an appoitment to see my gp.

Now, has anyone else had something simmlar happen?
 
To much Rugby and noses don't mix, add that to 7 years of Taekwondo and my nose can bend into all sorts of shapes.

It's fun at parties and all the ladies love you for it*

Aye, 1 more break for me takes it to double figures! Too much rugby. First couple of times got it reset in hospital a couple of weeks after it happened, after that i couldn't be bothered waiting for the appointment to get it straightened, so the propr forwards usually took great pleasure in giving the old nose a yank and crack to straighten it on the pitch, stuff it full of vaseline and off playing again.

Throbs like crazy though when it gets a crack.
 
yes my nose has been broken several times. once in competition, once in a brawl up town, football, and lastly by tripping up and landing flat on my face lol my hands were occupied at the time. My nose doesn't look bad at all, looking from left to right you can see a bit of a bump, cartalidge, though. The one thing how it does affect me is sleep, because the inside is so 'mashed' my nostrals no longer give great volumetric efficiency lol so I resort to breathing through my mouth and wake up with very dry throats.. Ah well.

I'm not bothered, at least its done so if it happens again in a time of great need I'll not be particularly distracted by the fact..

Boosh, look at you :D

I hate the idea of the old conk getting broken, it hurts enough squeezing a zit or banging it. Can't imagine what it's like to get it smashed up :(
 
Gran Turismo 3 was year 8 iirc, so yeah 13 for me :p .

Funny how you remember stuff from game releases, MGS on psx, year 5 i think? Halo was year 9 i think. maybe late year 8 actually.

That happens all the time anyway, I wake up to answer the door and BAM I walk in to my bedside table :(


Chris1712 - Yeah, Dates are useless, it's more "I was playing xxx when xxxx happend" :)
