My Grandad unfortunately recently passed away, and myself and my Dad come across all of this in the loft, I was too young to play the Commodore 64, however my Dad and my Grandad played games all of the time on these, I have now have 2x Commodore 64s along with accessories. I thought I would share with you guys, as some of the games may bring back memories to you.

I haven't got round to cleaning it all yet, I've just gone through everything to make sure it is all there.

I would show you the best places to go for the latest C64 stuff , inc my site and Facebook groups. But it's not allowed so nevermind :)

- Nice stuff by the way, I've got a breadbin and two other C64's

It is allowed, what isn't allowed is the constant advertising that you were doing. :)

And thank you.

I'm sure the other sites would be allowed, or will you only help people if you get free advertising for your own site?

RIP to your grandad sorry for your loss.

Nice collection!

I had a c64 for a short while then got a amstrad cpc64 which took over the c64 as I preferred it. I got the pokes cartridge for it as well :D

Absolute classic, I am tempted to build arcade cabinet with emulators for both inside it and MAME.

Azimuth head alignment kit :D had one of those, you had to poke a cross head screwdriver through the hole and point the paper arrow to to extremes via the software and then to the mean to get alignment.

No Currah64 speech synth cartilage, had one, was poo, think 2 games supported it :D

Pffft, no Wizball or Wizaball 2.

Oh man, Burger time, Mission Impossible & Wizard, one time Lightening struck & Zapped Wizard when I was playing then I reprogrammed half of it back.... I was only a kid also & never looked at a programming book... I had GEOS also...

Tapes, 45 minutes loading then crashing instantly ah the memories

Only a very few people know this Microsoft also made Windows for C64... :D

the bards tale, spent so many hours on that mapping the dungeons! Brian the Fist and El Cid! Such a basic game but I loved it

And Salamander level 2 music! think I may have experienced my first rush to that

cool, i remember all those things and had most of them!
i forgot all about that keyboard, but think i had it.

didn't have the disk drive though - that way too hi tech for me ;)

Awesome! I was gutted when mine broke. I had the lord of the rings game, but I was a bit too young to play it properly as i think it was a text based game.

Just out of interest, what is the keyboard like to type on? I was wondering the other day what kind or switches they used back then.

Sorry for the loss of your Grandad :(

We had a VIC-20 for our first computer. My Dad threw it away when I was at uni

So - what speed do you expect to get of the 6510?
