"NOT 1" & "BUT 2" number plates

totally random thread here...

ok, so for ages now i have been trying to remember where i have seen these plates

im pretty sure i saw these on 2 lotus elises or similar type cars years back, they were driving together.

when i do a mycarcheck and now "not1" is on a golf

anyone else seen these in the past? or was i dreaming???

if i google not 1 but 2 it fills the search bar out to say it has been a popular search.

I remember there was a couple of AMs I think with 2 BE and NOT 2B.

NOT1 BUT2 sounds familiar, but I cannot think of the car(s).

I've seen them both before, i can only assume they resided near my dads house as I saw them fairly regularly on a couple of ferraris, both the same model (i think they were 360's) about.. 6 years ago ?

I don't live in London but I've seen 2B outside the Connaught when I was visiting. Had to laugh as I'd remembered it being mentioned on here.

This is exactly the reason I don't like London - clearly a very expensive house then thirty paces up the road you're in to scuttersville...I'll take a big mansion in the country plz.

It doesn't help that you can pretty much choose anything for your registration here and that you can also apply headers and footers in both black (standard) and red (showoff) type. The MY PRECUS, for instance, had PRECUS as the main plate and the MY part in smaller type above it.

Some people are not right in the head.
