So sadly on Christmas day my partners father passed away. A horrible time as you can imagine but heres the light at the end of the tunnel.
Left to my partner (and obviously now me) is his pride and joy. Bought brand new and he drove everyone of the 149k miles on the clock.
For its age it is in absolutely immaculate condition. Obviously there are a few spots that need some love but not that much to worry about paint wise. It has been under a cover for the past 2 years in the garage. We have so far added a new battery and it started first time. Not going to move it yet as there could be a few mechanical surprises with it being stood for so long but as far as we are aware when it went into storage it was running perfectly. There are a few rust patches on the sun roof. The inside of the car looks amazing - its a bit fusty but just needs a few country lanes to air it out
The wheels aren't standard and were bought from BMW a few years after the car was bought. Luckily the original multi-split spoke wheels are behind the car - I can't get to look at them until the car is move out of the way.
Anyways it will be much fun getting this car back on the road and even more fun once this is back on the road.
