Not all ram showing up...

I previousely had 2 x 512mb PC2700 RAM and upgraded that to 2 x 1024mb PC3200 RAM but when I go to "My Computer" properties only 1GB is showing up. Also in 3DMark03 only 1GB of RAM is showing up it says the second slot is empty. But in CPUz it shows both of the sticks of ram.
Should I just ignore this or will my computer only use 1GB of the 2GB ram?

BTW my motherbord can handle 2GB ram.

Back from holiday so can now try to fix this problem.

Im running Windows XP Pro, my motherbord only has 2 slots for ram and both are now taken up and both are seated properly (well both "clips" are in place).

I was thinking that that was a possibility but Ive never liked flashing the bios so am hoping that there is another way.

My motherboard is the Asrock P4VM890

Well it is now working. All I did was test 1 piece of RAM at a time and one didnt seem to work in either slot but the other one did. So I then was just about to return it but instead I decided to swap them around and see if that works and now its working, which I find quite strange. But who cares its working now

I was sure that I put them in correctly but I guess that I didnt :rolleyes:
