The x1 does its job perfectly; getting on for silent, the fact that it cools quite well is a bonus imo.
Also please dont think that the rear exhaust idea is so amazing and great, if you notice a delta anything more than 2c then ill be suprised.

My shuttle with a pair of 7800gtx in sli that exhaust there heat inside the case = cpu is over 60c underload and system temp of 75c

With my xt1900xt-x fitted that exhausts it's heat out the rear of the case = cpu is 45c underload and system temp of 60c..

So having the GPU exhaust it's heat out the rear of the case makes a very big difference.
