can anyone see any problems/ better alternatives for this gear?

Budget about £250 ish

No problem really.

There is a WD 250Gb 16Mb Cavier Special Edition in B-Grade for £38, maybe worth looking at.

Tempting but i dont know i would trust a B grade hard drive.

Ill probably overclock a bit, but i can upgrade the cooler at a laiter date if i find the stock isnt doing a reasonable job.
